5.2 Employees
All employees are expected to:

• Act professionally at all times
• Avoid inappropriate interactions

6. Safe Working Practices
Staff are expected to:
• Follow all site-specific safeguarding procedures
• Work within designated areas
• Avoid being alone with children or vulnerable individuals where possible
• Maintain professional boundaries at all times
Which means that risk is minimised through simple, clear behaviours.
7. Training & Awareness
Where required, staff will receive:
• Basic safeguarding awareness as part of induction
• Site-specific guidance where relevant
Which means that staff are prepared for the environments they work in without unnecessary complexity.
8. Disclosure and Barring (DBS)
Where required by the client or site:
• Appropriate DBS checks will be carried out
• Only cleared staff will be assigned to relevant locations
Which means that we meet client safeguarding requirements and provide reassurance where higher levels of assurance are needed.
9. Reporting Concerns
If a safeguarding concern arises, staff must:
• Report it immediately to their manager or designated contact
• Follow any site-specific reporting procedures
We will:
• Escalate concerns appropriately
• Cooperate with client procedures and authorities where required
Which means that concerns are handled quickly, responsibly, and in line with appropriate processes.
